Company Charge Screens Introduction and Overview Without Automation, provision of additional services to customer airlines produces additional paperwork burdens. With a variety of forms in multiple copies being distributed around the organization, there is a lot of duplicated effort. Also, with confusion as to which customers are charged for which services, there is a high potential for loss of revenue. CCS addresses each of these issues. CCS simplifies the capture and processing of service details. It reduces effort by allowing the service provision details to be captured electronically at the source. Subsequently each department is allowed access to stored service details for their individual reporting needs. Service details can be sent electronically to accounts for automated billing via the Focus system and for head office reporting.
Improved Revenue Capture At the outset, CCS is configured to know which services are chargeable for which customers, leaving staff simply to record service provision. The risk of services being missed is thereby reduced and revenue capture for services outside contract is improved. Once recorded and calculated, the information generated in CCS for additional services can be exported to the Focus system for automated billing.
Paperwork and Mailing Reduction Recording service details electronically at the source once, means the elimination of duplication of the same information and a reduction in the processing requirements for the same information. All areas, including ramp manager, station manager and head office, have access to the same core information, and have the ability to extract the information required for their own reporting needs. System Operation CCS allows you to select a flight from the daily FiNDnet program and enter the additional services provided for that flight. Services are selected from a services pallet. A service form is displayed for each selected service and prompts the user to enter the required details. A list of all services provided for a flight can be viewed at any time along with a full list of services for the day, filtered by selectable criteria. System Configuration A service form can be designed for each service provided. Comprehensive data entry validation can also be configured to ensure correct entry. Each department can be set up to have access to their own services by configuring the service pallet. Supervisors can be configured to have access to all services, and are also allowed to cancel invalid or incorrect service entries. CCS can be administered locally by staff at an airport, or for larger organizations operating at several airports, can be administered from the Head Office allowing for corporate control of the configuration. Utilization Statistics Being able to capture details of every service provided to any particular flight, allows the system to produce an accurate view of additional ad-hoc services provided. Our Focus system provides the ability to view contracted and additional charges for gate operations.
